The last of this years 12 days of Christmas posts is one of my favourites. Short and sweet, lets have a little look at wrapping your gifts with a tiny bit more thought, but certainly taking no more time than using a roll of festive wrap from any old shop… Yes I am wrapping it up with some wrapping (and yes you can roll your eyes). I don’t know about you but we seem to have accumulated more decorations than fit on our tree. This year I am thinking that these giant glass baubles will be place settings, prettying up the table with a little reflective charm to catch the flickering candlelight. I have hand written tags to tie onto their hanging loops with silk ribbons, I’m sure you are getting the impression that simplicity is key in my life. Ok so if you’ve been following me a while on Instagram, you may well remember my hydrangea drying obsession of summer. When to pick them/how to dry them/how to keep the colour… Well after varying success with colour, I dried so many flower heads this year that I don’t know quite what to so with them all. It may be only just December, you may not feel as festive as me, but honestly this one is worth bookmarking for when the mood strikes. These biscuits just whisper Christmas to me, the scent of the spices while they bake is incredible, it fills the house and somehow makes me feel homely and happy.
